Just a quick note: Bethesday has released Patch 1.2 for Skyrim, which is primary supposed to fix some bugs. However there appear many reports – e.g. at nexusforums.com – who mention a lot of new issues. For example bugged UI, issues with savegames, problems with npcs. Maybe it is better to wait for another update.

Just a quick heads up on the LFR Loot Rolls. I was going for a second round as I passed on my first one and noticed I was not allowed to roll on loot. Hence I asked a GM if it was bugged.
If you haven’t finished Skyrim, yet don’t read on. All others have, with the help of the greybeards, arranged a peace treaty between the Empire and the Stormcloaks. At the end of the summit you are approached by Esbern and Delphine who tell you that the Dragon Paarthurnax needs to die for his past crimes or they will no longer cooperate with you.
The Skyrim world looks just amazing, sometimes I just stand there and enjoy the scenery. Dungeons, the world, the weather … everything is so rich in variety and nevertheless uniform as a whole – authentic (for a fantasy world :D). Anyway here are some locations I just had to Screenshot.
A new teaser video for the upcoming open world roleplaying game Skyrim has been released by Bethesda. For me it is the most anticipated game of the year and it launches in 2 days. Enjoy the video!
There have been quite a number of suggestions where I should try to solo High King Maulgar and Gruul in Gruul’s Lair, Blades Edge Mountains. Yes, I am aware it has been done before and it is not the biggest challenge, but it isn’t super easy either. I think I tried last winter but failed and did not have much motivation to develop a strategy for it, when there were so many more interesting encounters to do 😀 Current gear level makes this encounter rather easy though.
