Roughly a year ago we made a wonderful camping trip to the Wasgau, a forest covered hill-range in southern Germany close to the French Border, together with @kaihu_und_hadez
The area around Dahn is simply beautiful… little creeks, lakes, sand rock formations and dozens of castle ruins along the French border, e.g. the Berwartsein a robber baron castle… I spent my youth in the area, hiking each week end and it always feels special to return.
