Yesterday evening I made 2 live-videos, explaining the setup for this picture.
.
Shooting against the sun requires you to make compromises… either you expost for the foreground, burning out the background… or exposing for the background and getting a silhouette-like dark motif…
.
You can make it easier by using a lightsource to light your motif. I used a reflector here… other options would be to use a flash or permanent light like e.g. the @rotolight
When you want to take a picture of a moving dog flash will most likely not recharge fast enough.
Not sure how good the rotolight really is, maybe I get to test it one day. Watching Jason Laniers videos it must be quite amazing.
.
Other topics I covered in the live videos were training tipps, feeding, how I came to Ninja and goofing around.
Maybe you’d like to tune in the next time or ask your questions here on the latest posts ( notifications for older posts easily escape me, due to the sheer mass of notigications )

  1. @blazeandstella I struggle with them… so need to practice more… just found super professional @sunbounce_sunsniper reflector which I would like to test once

  2. @vaderthepupperoo In a nutshell… I managed offleash while handfeeding him… took about 9 months with no real progress (other than basic obedience) before it fruited in more difficult situations…
