This week was tough for me… I could hardly move without pain and therefore our walks were comparably short.
In times like these, lessons like “teach your dog to rest and to stay chilled” just prove to be so invaluable. Even though Ninja signaled preferring longer walks, he remained calm and content throughout the week. On Tuesday and Wednesday, he slept at my side… Normally, Ninja is not the kind of dog that seeks closeness at home. Now and then, he likes to cuddle but only when I do really not feel well he would sleep at my side.
One day I had chills and Ninja crawled under my warm blanket to keep me warm. It was probably unbearable warm under the blanket for him, but he stayed and did not even move… I was so thankful for that.
Smilla is totally different… she is like “Yikes… Human You are sick! Go away!”, haha.
Fortunately things are going better and hopefully I’ll be able to make it up to him the next days.
