In case you have not heard, there are still many places in Germany underwater. Like usually, here in Heidesheim (Mainz), we have been spared the worst of it.
The past days had been stormy and the water level of the river Rhine, which is roughly 400m-500m wide here, is more than a meter higher than last week. It may be cool, damp, wet… we still love to hike to the Rhine and Ninja makes the best of it.
