The past week has been pretty busy… we had many appointments and many problems to face. At least it drove me to take a step that I had avoided to take for a long time .
Last Friday we met in the city #Mainz with @josie_veganfit
Being in the city is always exhausting, meeting people is exhausting ( even though I enjoy it ) and all the appointments are exhausting… travelling is exhausting… so yeah I needed a few days of rest without instagram, without facebook, without internet… 📵 just took Ninja and went for some nice hikes.
.
People often wonder what is going on, because everything related to human interaction is exhausting… I am still awaiting a proper diagnosis, but there is strong evidence that I have Asperger syndrome, a type of autism…
Note that I did not write „suffer“… to me some forms of interaction are exhausting.
Many people feel lonely when they are alone, I cherish these moments and do not even mind longer periods of being alone…
.
With Ninja at my side, who communicates clearly, everything seems so much better.
He makes it easy for me to go to crowded places, to travel… a woman talked to me at the train station today. Had I been alone I would probably just have turned around and moved away without saying a word ^^
.
So I spend a lot of time with Ninja over the past week, who definitely enjoyed the surplus attention and time I had for him 😊😊
This is what You can see here… we have been at the riverside of the river Rhein//Rhine and spent several hours together 😊😊
We trained our old commands, as Ninja had begun to be a bit rusty 🙍🔊🐺⁉
While we were in Mainz we got to meet @izzy_the_half_husky who is such a sweet dog Ninja was totally crazy about her.
I will upload a story video as we arrive at @kaihu_und_hadez later today.
.
Can someone explain the differences between emotional support animals, therapy dog, service dog? I am sure Ninja serves as one of these… of course without training or certifications… how would You classify him, considering what you k ow about us?
.
I will catch up with messages📝📝📝

  2. Talk to @huskyarlo She knows it all about service dogs, therapeutic… I am a psychologist and worked in an Asperger’s association. I have close family that are Asperger’s. You are very right: it’s not a suffering condition. This just means your brain literally processes differently, sometimes that involves the genius in Asperger’s. Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise. And although there are many things that can be worked w a proper psychologist I assure you that society is guilty too of many wrong interactions. There is a very low tolerance and sympathy for anybody who won’t communicate 100% perfectly. Hell, I don’t have Asperger’s and sometimes my attention just goes off and cannot hear people even when I’m looking at them. If people get offended and cannot see others have things going on too, that’s not all on you. Dogs are about the best thing that can happen to Asperger people, I have seen it. I am very glad you have one by your side. Wish you good luck and if you would like to talk to me or discuss anything do send a dm. Best wishes!

  4. I think Ninja is more of a therapy dog, since he helps you when you are in exhausting situations and since you feel the best you can when you’re with him!

  5. Gosh, totally understand but dont let yourself be put in a box by the shrinks, just because you experience things differently and have different needs than „the rest“ doesnt mean you have a symptom or sick or bad. Psychologists loooove to put you in these boxes if you do not exactly act like „the others“. If it were up to them they would (will/are) branding people to prefer to spend time with dogs/animald
