Recently we had many rain showers. I started checking weather sites before we start a long hike.
Today the forecast was „warm, humid, but no rain in the next hours!“ I thought, oh “Wow. Good news. We can hike to castle Waldthausen”. I wanted to make some Game of Thrones related pictures. The side of the castle is „guarded“ by two metal stags (House Baratheon) and two stone lions (House Lannister) are on the balcony.
We did not even reach the castle, before it started to shower. Ah well, I did not really mind, just found the forecast hilarious. We sought shelter in a BBQ-hut… An hour later Ninja and me smelled like old, cold BBQ. Yikes!! Haha…
Sadly, everything was wet and the light was no longer good, so we returned home.
Usually after it has been raining, we see a lot of game in the woods. We did today… Ninja was without leash, when a deer jumped out hiding maybe 8-10 yards away. I did not even have to shout to recall Ninja, just a firm „Ninja, NO! Ninja, here!“ was enough for him to return to my side.
