Slowly the summer is coming to an end… it is still warm and sunny, but you can see the first signs of autumn. The leaves begin to show a yellow tint, it is windy and rainy, mushrooms begin to sprout and the days become significantly shorter.
The long days are what I like – aside short skirts and bikini pictures 😀 – most about summer. It is nice be able to decide at 08:00pm to go for a 2 hour hike and not come back in utter darkness.
It is not happening each sunset, preferably when after a week or longer without rain. Many tiny particles, rain would have washed them out, swirl through the air, reflect sunset light and radiate a soft golden hour glow. It is sooo beautiful.
