Sadly, it is too dangerous to enter the forest at the moment. We have strong squalls… brisk gusts of wind with 80kmh 50mph. Trees and branches can be heard cracking all day.
It happened pretty fast… just a couple of days ago trees started to cast their leaves and now Autumn streaks in with its first gale…
I like the noise of wind, reminds me of a mixture of ocean waves and white noise. There is not much else to hear right now… I love beautiful autumn colors… Most people think of leaves, but let us not forget the meadows full of wildflowers… and I love the scents that waft through the forest… the smell of moist earth and decaying leaves.
The only regret is the complete absence of fruit… I live in an area with ten thousands of fruit trees… usually the harvest at this time is bountiful… apples, pears, cherries, plums and raisins… back in April however, trees were in blossom and a single freezing night killed off all blossoms…
